💥 AFRICAN PLAGUE: THE BOOM OF STABLES ON CELO 💥 Celo has recently overtaken Tron in terms of the number of active addresses for using stablecoins, and this is not surprising. First of all, it's not just an increase in the number of addresses. If you look deeper, you can see that the volume of transactions on Celo is growing in all directions. This suggests that the network is not filled with small transfers — users are really actively using stablecoins for large transactions. Over the past year, the supply of stablecoins on Celo has increased dramatically. Tether even released an additional $200 million, anticipating strong demand. Secondly, applications like MiniPay and Valora have attracted a lot of new users. MiniPay gained 1 million wallets in 5 months after its launch in 2023, and by July 2024 — already 3 million.
