Have you ever minted some on-chain artwork and then noticed a mistake? Did you burn it? What if I told you we no longer have to destroy our Tezos art mistakes? That we will soon be able to simply replace the artwork with a correction. Are you interested? The next upgrade to the ZeroContract has this built right in. This is only available while the minter owns all of the editions, but as such lets us fix things before selling. With no destruction involved. Are you not entertained?

My summaries are in no particular order. First up: 0km: One collection, Two colors, Five artists = Artistic eye candy. This collection makes me smile every time I go back to look at it. Beautifully executed, the artists took their individual styles and melded them into a cohesive aesthetic really emphasizing collaboration. The unified look builds a strong relationship between the artists but has not diminished their unique approach. The end result is visually striking, and the thematic choices strengthen the idea of collaboration in an artistic landscape. Is anybody interested in the possibility to include infinite assets attached to their on-chain artwork? I know I am. A little understood, overlooked and by many unknown, metadata element of @tezos NFT are the formats[] and assets[] arrays. These are really powerful and let artists provide access to various formats of the artwork. Think different file types (music to accompany the artwork) or aspect ratios (9:16 version of the 16:9 artwork), etc. With IPFS these work brilliantly. However, a major complication with on-chain art is that these are inaccessible to us. Since they are libraries (an array nested in the metadata key), everything that goes into them must fit within one transaction block which is only 32kb. Instead, we need something different. So, I built something different. And powerful. And infinitely extensible for on-chain artists – extraUri. Interested?
