Base app beta is currently unusable without a block feature. 100k new users are gonna run into this over the next few days It’s a terrible experience when you get blasted by bots and communists the moment you open that client vs FC with a block list active.

The issue is blocking is done at the client level, as far as I understand it, so if I’ve blocked 100 bots or people on the FC main client — then when I use the Base all client there is no blocking because it’s a new client. So the main thing right away I noticed on Base app feed was the bots/people I’ve blocked over the last year can now reply to every post and it pings notifications etc. and there is no way to stop it.
