Goya is my favorite painter, period. And since I live in his region, I get to treat myself to some of his less famous paintings. Yesterday I found this one, "Ghostly Vision" (1801), on a temporary exhibition at Aljafería Palace. It says so much with so little.

He does! These darker pieces look like they need less mastery (which he has no lack of) but in my opinion they require more hahah
