It’s been interesting seeing reactions to yesterday’s /cef grants. For the most part, it’s been positive with a lot of love going to the amazing builders. But we knew we couldn’t make everyone happy. What’s been most interesting is the different approaches from builders and community members that think we got it wrong. The best approach I’ve seen has been to reply asking how they can apply next time or sharing a project in a positive way that they think we missed. And with an attitude of “I’m going to keep building and make sure I stand out for next time. We’ve taken note of all of those. ✅ Another good approach is to look at the Creator Sprint opportunity and say “I have a great idea for this and I’m definitely applying!” Love that too! ✅ Another positive approach: seeking out other grant programs, DAOs and opportunities! ✅ But if not receiving a grant in this first round makes you rage quit, that just tells me we probably made the right call.
