No matter who you voted for, no matter your party affiliation, it’s time to say ENOUGH! The Senate votes next week to continue funding this. CALL YOUR SENATORS NOW! Especially if your senators are Republicans. CALL don’t just email — it has more weight. And what has even more weight in this moment is if you are a Republican or Libertarian. Tell them you didn’t vote for Americans to be shot by our government and to violate US Citizens 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Amendment Rights. I’ve been a moderate Dem/Libertarian ideology leaning my whole life. (Libertarian Party just a bit crazy for me but I’ve been reevaluating since at least they are consistent). I swore an oath to the Constitution when I was inducted into the bar. I never thought I’d see this blatant violation of the Bill of Rights. We’ve hit our lowest point and it’s down only from here if it doesn’t stop now. To my friends on the left — if you see those on the right making a pivot, it’s not the time for I told you so. (general statement—haven’t seen it on here) And it’s definitely not the time for party politics. It time for sanity to return.
