Well this truly sucks. This is an incredible useful feed. I’d highly recommend other clients dive in and create this type of feed to help with discoverability (cc: @chintan @christopher @erica). This has been a great way to surface what users find valuable. And NO the trending topic does NOT take its place in the slightest since its surfaces one or two topics not a variety of casts that are trending.
This is a big mistake. The algo does not surface all that’s trending. I pull 3-4 casts for each show that I’ve only seen in the trending feed & nowhere else. Trending feeds allow for insight into mindshare.
How come the value of trending is obvious for trending tokens but not for trending content?
