SCENIUS! cc: @adrienne So the Neynar news broke while we were on the air with @gmfarcaster interviewing @cassie so we took a quick pause to share the news (sorry for the interruption—Cassie appreciate your grace there) but my first thought was this is GREAT NEWS for builders! And this part of @rish’s cast confirms it. “Farcaster, at its core, is a community of builders deliberately cultivated over many years - the “scenius”. This community has consistently driven the network’s most meaningful moments - Frames, Degen, Warplets and more. The value of Farcaster is not just the products, but the people who experiment, share knowledge, and build in public. New ideas tend to gain their first traction here because they are shaped directly by feedback from builders who actively use and extend them. As building software becomes more accessible, we are going to merge 1. software generation 2. crypto native rails 3. builder focused ecosystem” I met @rish at FarCon the beta in Boston in June 2023 with just 70ish of us in the room. When he was presenting—and he talked about like 5 different things he was working on including Base pre-launch— I thought “this is one of the smartest dudes I’ve ever met in person.” Trust when I say, at first glance this is great for builders! Very excited for the next iteration of Farcaster!
