While I was up north, I had a chance to visit with my uncle who had a stroke a couple years ago and has aphasia as well as issues with his his arms and legs. Although still in a wheelchair, I felt like this year his communication was improved through nonverbal cues and was able to feed himself now. The physical therapy has clearly been working although we miss his voice.
