Are their any EIPs that would make your life easier or your product better if they were available today? Which?

EIP 7212 has some exciting ux implications

Yep, this is my poster child for "life would be better if I had it today". Still a bit bummed that mainnet support is delayed indefinitely with the move from EIP to RIP. Makes a compelling case for rollup UX though.

Yeah I get the sense there’s often very little enthusiasm to make the core chain very useful, but tbh most utility that touches a user really will likely come from an L2

Same... my take is that mainnet will be much more conservative moving forward now that we have successful testing grounds in the L2s and that battle-tested solutions will migrate up from them.

To that extent I wonder why if /polygon will support secp2561r1 anytime

oh, that's a great point! executing quickly is one of the things they're good at... and it seems in line with how they want people to use it. I wonder if it's on their radar?

My initial check found zero articles, so now I’m going to have to look harder :/

Is there much of a representation from the Polygon folks on here? I may be in a silo, but I don't tend to hear a lot of news about them on FC. I should probably follow /polygon 😅

Not much, as a builder on the consumer side I could do better in promoting how and what we’re doing with it also

I **struggle** with remembering to do that too. Building is a confident loop, promoting is much less so for me.

I feel that, I prefer my work to speak for itself selfishly because promoting is an energy net negative for me, but this world buries that type of approach

I’ve always heard there’s a flywheel where: you do good work, people notice and use it, so you do good work, etc… but the bootstrap problem is very real and tends to get glossed over.

To the bootstrap point, I’m excited to work with @mcbain and his @crew service to shorten my learning curve and reduce some of the energy drain When the app stores first opened it took $30k in ad spend to get enough visibility for your app to take off IF it was actually wanted, networks req more than just prod

Oh interesting. Let’s say my network applications all revolve around usage and movement of money for commerce. I use stable coins for the main denominator of value. We have various pockets of latency between currency types and settlement times. Is there a use case applicable to me for this?

Gain, assuming you can sort out stable coin support, the new span batch format from OP can offer some very drastic (up to 90%) savings on gas for DA to L1 for lower volume or more intermittent roll-up L2s.

I’m not quite sure if we would be an adopter or if one of our upstream partners but down to think through regardless if you want to hop on a call

Definitely down to jam! Figuring out how the pieces fit together and who benefits is front of mind for me right now, so I'd love to take you up on that. If I can, I'll defer to @artful.eth on scheduling since his schedule is less forgiving than mine.
