My boys, Bean & Link. Rescued Chiweenies. My GF & I found Bean, years ago, running around loose in a neighborhood here in FL in the freezing rain in February. I had to have been about 8º out. Poor little guy had been loose and running around the neighborhood for DAYS. We chased him & failed to catch him for about a week straight. Her Dad tried & failed, her brother(who is a police K9 officer) tried & failed, We couldn’t catch him… he was just too fast. Finally, my GF called the county & they let her borrow a cage to catch raccoons and possums. Less than a half hour later we had him in a cage & found out that he had no chip, no owners to claim him… needless to say, he hasn’t left my GF’s side since. We rescued Link from a kill shelter about 2 yrs later. They are my favorite dogs in the world. So sweet. All Link wants to do is play fetch from the minute he wakes up until he goes to sleep, and Bean just wants to chase lizards and lay in the sun. Two of the sweetest pups to ever exist.
