The constant barrage of personal attacks on X has been draining for a while now. I’ve never been directly targeted, but the underlying hostility and performative collaboration in the industry have always felt superficial.

One of the most off putting traits of CT is clout gatekeeping and it finally pushed me to deactivate my account.

Exactly why I find Farcaster so refreshing. People genuinely create, share, and engage with all kinds of content.

Not just “hot takes” or candle pushing posts. That kind of diversity and authenticity is the real moat, in my view.

It actually feels like it’s for everyone.
