how else do you solve cross-device ux? eg. same bookmarks, history, search, etc. on desktop and mobile?

idk, i think most people feel like if they save a chrome bookmark on desktop and its not saved on mobile then something is broken. same for payment info, passwords, history, etc

Bookmarks are overrated imo, but maybe people use them. Things like payment info and passwords are covered by password managers
