Curaleaf has ties to them too but i think just says they don't, or maybe it's been laundered now cuz they started out super heavily invested by them (curaleaf is one of the largest us cannabis companies, they bought out a lot of the mom and pop places here)

i think it's because weed is federally illegal so it's a liability to bank them cuz of certain laws or anti-money laundering compliance or something but there's been efforts to get them banked i feel like stable coins would be a workaround though if somebody like coinbase wanted to be their "bank" but idk
