j came back from a no phone retreat upstate! my bf asked me how it was & the only way i could describe it was: “if i was a phone, and my battery health was at 80%, it’s now at 90”. no crazy revelation, well except - my sleep was SO FREAKIN GOOOOOOOUD like 4 diff dreams a night kinda deep - i’m realizing i gotta be more intentional about my academics next semester per my professor’s advice (no more >18 credits, courses enriching my existing core values & aspirations) - and i love the smell of upstate ny in the morning. the dew, the slight cold, the freshness of the smoky air. sigh. i love it. that being said, i love this place aaaaand (not “but” because that would make the last statement not true) i gotta be less active. it’s weird bc i think replying to diff people is what leads to my deepest convos here buttttt wait i mean ANNNDDD i gotta touch grass so i can be more intentional w my activity here b4 it turns into pure consumption. yk? 📍McGraw, New York

I love this! I’ve always wanted to do an off grid retreat. We forget how restful and alive we can feel without constant distraction. Good for you

Hi Noga. I loved reading this cast. Retreats where you unplug from electronic devices are a blessing. Being intentional with your academics and more generally your life is a game-changer. I remember trying to swing 21 credits in one semester and I couldn’t do it and for the classes I did finish, I didn’t retain as much. Good for you for discovering this so early in your life. 🙌🏽 100 $TIPN

GIRLY >18 CREDITS!!!???! The most I ever did was like 16 tops, and one semester I did 14, and of course another semester I dropped out😂 but yayy sounds like you had a great time; being disconnected is nice. I’ve been more online than ever😭😂
