j came back from a no phone retreat upstate! my bf asked me how it was & the only way i could describe it was: “if i was a phone, and my battery health was at 80%, it’s now at 90”. no crazy revelation, well except - my sleep was SO FREAKIN GOOOOOOOUD like 4 diff dreams a night kinda deep - i’m realizing i gotta be more intentional about my academics next semester per my professor’s advice (no more >18 credits, courses enriching my existing core values & aspirations) - and i love the smell of upstate ny in the morning. the dew, the slight cold, the freshness of the smoky air. sigh. i love it. that being said, i love this place aaaaand (not “but” because that would make the last statement not true) i gotta be less active. it’s weird bc i think replying to diff people is what leads to my deepest convos here buttttt wait i mean ANNNDDD i gotta touch grass so i can be more intentional w my activity here b4 it turns into pure consumption. yk? 📍McGraw, New York
