to any runners out there: i need ur help. iโm getting back into running after 2 months or so of low impact movement (yoga, pilates), and im rlllllly not used to this summer heat๐ญ does anyone have any tips for running during the summer time โ๏ธ?

+1 to @erica running early in the morning or later at night! be okay going slow!!! and you can do intervals like run, walk, run, walk, etc. also find a friend to join you. has changed the game for me xx

Iโve been there! Early morning and late afternoons are your best bet as well as starting slow and incorporate some fartlek. Try this out 3x per week with off days 45 min walking: Week 1) 1min run, 4 min walk 2) 1.5m run, 3.5min walk โฆ Keep going until 4 min run, 1 minute walk. You got this!

Run before the sun is up or after itโs gone down Avoid 11am-4pm at all costs Hydrate properly both before and during If you sweat, wear a hat/visor/headband to keep it from going into your eyes Or also just donโt run on peak heat days (what I do lol)
