Linux for Proton Drive is the final app I need to go full Framework computer. Framework is the most self owned computer being 100% repairable and upgradable. I'm happy to see Proton is making progress towards this. https://x.com/ProtonDrive/status/1907833485626163230

For a more open source solution that's very linux friendly you could consider Tarsnap. I find Proton very lacking when it comes to technical documentation on how they make sure they (or others) can't access the data.

heh, yeah I think Proton should work more on their technical documentation instead of their marketing. ;) @fileverse is interesting, did a quick search but couldn't find any good references to their security stuff. Any clues?

@fileverse uses a mostly crypto tech stack with @ipfs encryption of content and @safe for user accounts. I haven't searched for the docs yet. Hopefully they can reply here with links to the tech.
