How old were your kids when they started looking forward to the weekend? My 2 and a half year old has started learning about days of the week so now always asks “is today the weekend?” because we only let him watch tv on the weekends haha I don’t love it but I guess it’s kind of inevitable

My 2.5 year old daughter looks forward to it because she knows we may go on a hike or go swimming. Any time I tell her “tomorrow is the weekend” she starts asking, “hike!?!” or “swimming pool!”
