its not for everyone, but Rick absolutely shreds this Help on The Way/Slipknot cover. some of the best Dead covers I've ever heard, and I've listened to a lot and this was just the encore. the whole show was fire

I respect the skills but just can’t do it. Too manufactured for my tastes. I’ve seen goose a few times (a buddy of mine grew up with them) but I find the band boring and vanilla. Rick is super talented though — and has the heart of Peter Shapiro and the relix mafia.

fair enough. I was at this goosemas show and thought it was super fun, but def understand where you're coming from I'm a big dead and phish fan too and goose definitely tone down the experimental jams compared to them

I’m a big dead head (and anything Jerry touched). I dont want to admit how many Phish show I’ve been to, but it’s a lot 😂 (Vermonter). Feel you on the experimental jams. Personally, I’ve been catching Billy Strings the last few years — and will be hitting most of the fall run. Life changing live performer.
