I’ve almost completely stopped using guitar tuners. The imperfections of tuning by ear sound so much better I don’t think I can go back. It’s also really fun going between different types of tunings by ear

Do you stick to tuning to standard by ear? Or you go crazy with the type of tuning.

Pretty neat! My fingers crumble once One of my goals is to open myself up and give alt tunings a chance. Have you tried DADGAD? It’s pretty neat on Pole Apart by Pink Floyd https://youtu.be/jL9nHttSV98?si=3VwWy7H1axqP_ZtP
