does anybody know the dangers of wearing monthly contacts too long? asking for .......a friend.... who is being unnecessarily frugal and on month #3 of her first-ever pair of monthly contacts and it seems just fine?

Your... friend... is taking them out and washing them in Biotrue before storing them in a case every night, right? πŸ«§πŸ‘€ If so I'd say a few weeks extra is not too risky. 3 months seems too long.

haha yes! "she" takes them out every night and stores them in biotrue - occasionally also in clear care disinfecting solution which is marketed to "remove protein build up". and also doesn't wear them every single day okay so i guess i'll change them out then and start using them as "2 month" contacts πŸ˜…

"2-month contacts" πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ’€ On the topic my friend showed me the Uniswap of contact lenses. It saves me a decent percent every time I order. I believe most of the companies ship internationally. If not setting up a virtual mail service is probably a good long-term move for your "friend". https://contactsprice.com
