anyone wanna build this as a mini app? goal would be to let ppl easily mint 1/1s directly to their own wallet (art, photos, posts, etc) - full ownership stays w the creator and they retain complete optionality ownership first, monetization second as a choice instead of default, still a free market

any of them have mini apps? and is there any built in future fee at the time of creation? i’d love to see the creation/ownership and monetization layers separated - market places can compete

No mini apps from any of them though transient, manifold, and buildtree all support base mints Wdym by future fee at time of creation? Like lazy minting? All three allow for creator minting with an option not to list for sale immediately as well as minting the works directly to their own artist wallets

not as familiar w these so genuinely just curious and lack understanding - if i mint a 1/1 photo on one of these today directly to my own wallet, could i go sell it on any marketplace w no additional fee from the mint source? as in, can i mint on manifold for the price of gas and then sell it on a new marketplace that charges 0.1% fee, and pay nothing more to manifold if thats the case, then just would need easy button in here as mini app to mint things in a few clicks if it’s not the case, that’s what i’m getting at by fully separating the “creation” from the “monetization”

Manifold and build tree charge like a $1 fee per sale so extremely negligible from a fee perspective to begin with. TL charges a higher platform fee But folks can mint work via those sovereign minting smart contracts and list for sale on other open marketplaces like OS or permissioned marketplaces (if they have accesa) like NG or Verse BUT then those marketplaces typically have their own platform fees that they would charge for sales that occur there A lot of options but a lot of nuance

got it - what’s interesting now is that w built in distribution on fc, artists here are basically paying sizable platform fees for a frame while doing most of the distribution work on their own here - seems there’s a wide margin gap to close across a lot of these fc could eventually take a fee for value flow through here, which would be warranted, but they aren’t as of now, and at least incentives are more balanced bc of open social graph
