oooh that’s a good question. don’t have any feline experience with ours, but it’s worth looking into as a more durable option vs. traditional suedes or velvets.

maybe there are particular fabrics that are ideal for cat claws though, I haven’t done the necessary research yet.

I hadn’t heard of that fabric! How well does it hold up to cat claws? That’s my biggest compromise for fabric functionality.

would highly recommend going with alcantara if possible, it’s a very durable and easy-to-clean microsuede. can be expensive, but worth it imo.

Yeah, beauty can come at a great cost and isn’t always worth it. I honestly wish that material care was something more consumers were educated about during their buying process. It has a huge impact on the lived experience with a given product!

I feel this 💯 How much I have to worry about something is an essential factor in my buying process.
