I've faded numerous popular trends (early memes) because I thought I was smarter than the market. I've also ridden some absurd shit (food-themed defi) to Valhalla because this market loves absurdity.
But I was right about Ordinals. I called it a grift from day one.
I get the same feeling about "Creator Coins."
They are an instant liquidity drain. Buyers get immediately fleeced and pay a handsome platform fee to boot.
There is no absurdity to lean into like there was with memecoins, which makes them worse.
"Bro has 1.5M TikTok followers" is not a thesis.
Prove me wrong.
