I let slip that I “know a bit about crypto” to a guy at run club this morning.
He asked which coins I like. I said “mostly bitcoin” to deflect from the fact that I’m deeper than the Mariana Trench in this mfer.
He replied, “ah nice, I’m really focused on Ripple.”
Ripple is absolutely the most successful project I’ve ever seen at onboarding normies. I’ve never met a single fair weather crypto guy who doesn’t bring it up.
Yet everyone in the space knows XRP can’t be taken seriously.
This phenomenon must be studied.
