There’s been a lot of conversation on X about SheFi and whether women-focused spaces are “good” or “bad” for crypto. I think we’re missing the point. It can be intimidating to be the only woman in a room full of men. Many of us have lived that reality for years. Some women genuinely thrive when they have a community where they can ask questions, learn at their own pace, and not feel judged. That kind of support can be the thing that keeps them in the industry instead of driving them out. My path was different. I learned DeFi by throwing myself straight into the deep end. I’m not unable to exist in male-centric spaces and I’ve built most of my career doing exactly that. But that’s my story. It doesn’t have to be yours.
