Thinking about doing Yelp for Venture Investors to help founders find their perfect VC. 

Do you use anything like this? Does this sound useful to you?

Has anyone used YC or Alliance’s VC directories? 
Curious what’s good and what’s bad.

Have used the YC directory.

Good: really easy way to get intros. I trust the reviews. Usually very honest and balanced because we know they won’t be shared publicly. Name specific partners. Even random small investors / angels have reviews.

Bad: like yelp you usually get extremes and the average stuff doesn’t get a write up. Have to rely on community incentives to fill them out so def not as many reviews as there are YC cos.
