P2P marketplaces mediated by web2 providers (ebay, uber, notarize, betterhelp, future) should ALL migrate to crypto with lower take rates. A generic protocol could enable feedback driven reputation, credential proving, and special integrations for regulated industries to surface official misconduct reports. Thanks to tokens, this could be built feeless. Picking the right vertical to start with, then grow from there. This would change the world for the better.

Cheqd.io is building exactly this! They even have the credentials for reputation live with creds.xyz. Trusted data markets with private identity management and integrated payments rails all supported by zkproofs.

I think this is a great opinion, most importantly I don't have to worry about currency. For example uber I am Japanese and if I were to travel to the US, I would bring dollars. I can add USDT or USDC from any country if I need more and I don't have to carry it in cash. I can use the cash for whatever I want to use it for, such as travel, souvenirs, etc. As a consumer, this would be a welcome development.

It would definitely change the world for better. But I don’t think they’re ready for a mass adoption of crypto. Who knows, overtime maybe they’ll find a way.

These providers are under a lot of regulation and are placed in good faith, how do you plan on managing that on a decentralized platform?
