If I was building a new city I would make a modern tulou and heavily restrict access to create an insular high trust easily defensible community Shops/retail/doctors/services etc in the bottom, homes on top Drone nets, fully surveilled outside, turrets…. Still contemplating entrance requirements Most network cities today are bound by crackhead ideology and I’m not about to go apocalyptic Protestant cult leader

To me this is the future of urban living. It’s the next gen of the amenity rich apartment building I already lived in, just with more stringent application criteria and better self defense

watch the adam neumann interview that just came out? not about defense but network states without the geolpolitics / soho house for housing / purported economy between tenants

Yeah, his company is so similar to this concept. But I think defense is a must. I want to learn more about the application criteria for his communities. I think a strong filter is an absolute must. You can’t let anyone in
