also at the SEA blockchain week @chainlinklabs event on April 3rd I was approached by a guy named Simon founder of Favourse, a web3 platform that helps crowdfund artists retreats. He lives in Bali and says there is a great web3 community out there.

Bert here with an important message! I’ve organized a crowdfund to help cover surgery costs for my friend Lada, a sweet 11-year-old pup who recently developed a tumor and needs surgery. You might know her human, @klusya, as a kind, creative, and essential part of our Farcaster community. Now they could use a little of that kindness back. Lada’s surgery is necessary to keep her healthy and comfortable in the years ahead. But it comes with an unexpected cost, and that’s where we come in. Some thoughts about onboarding creators. The more conversations I have with artists - the more clear it is that no one really cares or thinks about crypto at all. It's a weird new world that they've heard about but don't actively care to be a part of because they don't understand it. The "pull" isn't there like it used to be. Sure they can make more money - but often at the expense of cannabalizing their existing audience. I say this because now is a crucial crucial phase for crypto to onboard meaningful talent and seems like everyone is caught in this trough trying to a) get the best creators onchain and then b) drive enough demand to those releases to get them to come back again https://x.com/Cooopahtroopa/status/1914975699993256268

On April 3rd I went to a Southeast Asia blockchain week event put on by Chainlink in BKK and was approached by this guy named Matt. We had a great convo. He’s from Vietnam and he was telling me about a launchpad company he’s part of called Red Kite. Told me to hit him up about doing events in Vietnam. Cool guy.

The night after the mexc 7 year anniversary party in bkk I had a great convo with a guy from mexc named Steven who is really passionate about event production. We talked about music as well as the future of immersive concert venues like domes which i’ve been creating in for 12 years.

April 1st I ended up going to a rooftop party put on by Nika Labs and TRN Labs where I had a great conversation with a guy named Joel who is really passionate about crypto, video game soundtracks and classical music as well as anime. He lives in Cambodia and says there is a community of about 500 web3 people out there.
