Oceans absorb 90% of the heat trapped by greenhouse gases. It’s a huge regulator of temperature because of water’s high specific what capacity. But the past few years have seen global surface temperatures about 10% hotter than the 20 year average!! Potentially, it’s becoming oversaturated of heat.
