New Shoe:

Saucony Endorphin Elite II

Now that I’ve been cleared to run fast again, if figured it’s time to try a new super shoe and see if I can buy some extra speed. 

For $290 it really needs to do something special. 220 grams for a men’s Us size 11. Super light and the craziest feeling foam I’ve ever had on my feet. Super squishy and soft when trying to walk or even run slowly. The shoe just feels super bouncy, unstable, but fast and fun at the same time. It’s kind of what I imagine it’s like to break a wild bronco would be like. 

I only put in 3 miles, and the jury is still out. I like them, but not 100% sure I love them yet. The foam is definitely noticeable, but I really don’t feel the typical snappiness of the carbon plated shoe. 

Has anyone else been trying any of the new super shoes that are available?

Yeah, I completely get it, and they are not ugly, just super weird. 😏

Honestly give zero fucks what they look like. I’ll use whatever is fastest. Most super shoes are ugly
