The Ethereum Foundation has announced layoffs affecting part of its research and development team, along with a reorganization of its Protocol Research and Development division, now rebranded as simply “Protocol.” The newly restructured team will concentrate on three main priorities: scaling Ethereum’s base layer, enhancing blobspace to support its data availability goals, and improving overall user experience.
