We're simplifying how replies work on Farcaster.

When you open a conversation, you’ll see replies from everyone who doesn't have a spam label. This is a big change from today, where we apply a lot more filtering by default. 

If you prefer more filtering, you can go to Settings > Feeds and set "Reply Filtering" to aggressive. This will only show from people you follow and algorithmic suggestions from Farcaster.

This only applies to casts that aren't in channels, since some channels have more rules around who can reply.

What does spam label mean? Just 0 or also no label?
I mean yesterday I still saw no label replies in more replies in the farcaster channel, has that changed now?

Anyone knows the answer to this?

Are no label and level 2 referred to as 'doesn't have a spam label' below? 

Last week new onboards without a label were still hidden in 'More replies', which was bad, so hoping this is fixed now with recent changes

'excluding spammy' sounds like only level 0 is blocked

I think you’re one of the few, if not the only people who might actually know the answer to this...

Even though I’ve been trying to track the algo closely over the past few days, I still don’t fully get how it all works. Every day I learn something new

For example, today I heard that if a user keeps posting in a channel they’re not a member of, their Neynar score might go down. Not sure if that’s actually true or just speculation

should be more specific i.e. no impact from posting in channels where you arent a member

Neynar score is closed afaik and i also don't know whether that is true but I'm sure @rish knows. Kind of makes sense but it also doesn't since becoming a member of a channel is sometimes impossible
