I found that the one positive of our chancellor Merz being such an out of touch industry lobby pawn is that... expressing your dislike is a great way to bond with random strangers. They say you shouldn't talk politics as small talk but tbh, in this case it works like a charm. Nothing like a lil shared ranting to connect.
