My current depressing smart read is indeed depressing. In a way, it's a book about how reason has become the supposed panacea freed from the shackles of other virtues like common sense and morality. At least makes me feel better for having been fired in the past over trying to bring common sense and moral concerns into projecs :'D "Voltaire's Bastards" by John Ralston Saul
