yesterday, someone sent me a dm asking about a sweater vest and a shirt. i gave him the total cost, and he said it was too expensive. he offered to pay $50 for both. i told him honestly that i couldn’t price my items that low. right after that, he lashed out, started cussing at me, called me a thief, and said i had no right to charge that much since i wasn’t a designer brand.
i’m sharing this because it really broke me. this is exactly what 16-year-old me was afraid of when i started this business. people have told me my prices are high before, but no one has ever come at me with so much cruelty. and just like that, i’m back to questioning my choice of craft.

I'm so sorry that happened to you. He's an asshole and he should have printed the pictures on a piece of paper and worn a cutout instead. People don't understand how time consuming and costly it is. Even $50 for that first shirt isn't enough. 
It is highway robbery to demand $50 for both.
