April 2023 was the most painful moment of my life... That was when i lost everything. I started my business small back in 2018 in Ekpoma (EKP). By 2022, I was already thinking about relocating to Benin. I worked hard nd managed to save between 6 to 7 million naira. In December 2022, I finally made the move, rented a shop, took my time to set it up, nd officially launched in February 2023. Things were going well... Until one morning. I got a call from the shop’s security guy. He rarely called unless he needed something, so I was surprised. I picked up, nd he said, Dem don pack your attachments from the shop. I was confused. Attachments? I wasn’t even selling that. Then it hit me... Something was wrong. I rushed out, jumped into the nearest taxi, nd got to the shop. The door was unlocked. I froze. I couldn’t even bring myself to open it. I sat outside, shaking. When I finally gathered the courage to go in… The shop was empty. Everything was gone... The wigs, the bundles in the show glass, even the hidden deposited hairs. I broke down. I cried. I almost ended my life that day. Customers started calling nonstop. Some were angry. Nobody cared to listen or give me time. The pressure was too much. With help from kind people, I paid off part of the debt. Out of frustration, I joined Web3 on May 18th. Then Bybit came through... I won $600 worth of $MNT in a raffle. That helped me clear some debts. Later, I discovered friend.tech. I made money from both V1 and V2. The airdrop from V2 alone was worth nearly $5,000... Not even counting what I made after that from trading and using the app. Yes, the founder (Racer) later rugged… but honestly, I’m still grateful for friend.tech. It helped wipe my tears. I even started praying for the people who robbed me... Because maybe, just maybe, if they hadn’t, I would’ve never entered Web3… or found friend.tech. That’s how God turned my pain into purpose. From crying to rejoicing. May every pain we’ve faced lead us to healing, purpose, and blessings we never saw coming. Amen
