@tim answering all the hard questions about ethereum governance

Having run governance much smaller scales, I have immense empathy for @tim 's position. He took a lot of heat for the EOF disgruntlement because people love to blame someone

He did a great job demonstrating how much of the granular work of the Ethereum gov is highly specific, technical and unnecessarily time consuming for most lower context people while also recognizing the impact of decisions and forks on the broader community

In short, it's a challenge to please everyone, and the EF puts an admirable amount of effort into facilitating discussions and synthesizing these discussions into meaningful contributions
