Some bears exhibit remarkable, almost "human-like" behavior—they can sit motionless for long periods, simply gazing at lakes, forests, or mountain peaks, as if enjoying the beauty around them. Scientists haven't yet come to a consensus on the precise reason behind this behavior. It could be a form of rest, a way to more closely monitor their surroundings, or even something deeper.
Bears are known to be highly intelligent and social creatures: they can play, remember things for many years, and even grieve.
