I just discovered $REPLY by @frontend as a result of his bid on today's auction @qrcoindotfun. It's a simple mini-app which allows people to send DMs with payments attached. For example, if Marc Andreessen wasn't replying to my DMs but set a price of $50 for a response in this mini app, i could pay that amount to send him a DM with the payment attache, and if he still doesn't reply, i get my money back. This is similar to what @balajis.eth previous company Earn did back in the day and i have long been a believer in his vision for the potential there. So I just bought some $REPLY (nfa, dyor, etc.) and it's worth noting that @frontend has not even won today's auction (although he may). If he doesn't win, he gets his bid amount back in full, so it's totally free. For no cost, he would have got at least one relatively big buyer for his token, plus this cast from me. If he does win, he's going to get thousands of people to check out his mini app in the next 24 hours. Bidding on our auction is a win win for serious onchain builders. INTRODUCING THE NEW (v2) $QR COIN LOGO. We have updated the $QR coin image to make 2 small but important changes. Both are for specific, practical purposes. We believe these are objective improvements. 1. Onchain QR Code — the QR code itself is now fully onchain. That means it is sovereign, decentralized, and free from any web2 dependencies. Text Description — we added text around the border to briefly explain the project. Our QR would otherwise be indistinguishable from any other QR when someone sees it and scans it out of context. They would likely assume it is a static QR rather than a dynamic one. And they would have no way of knowing about $QR coin. We might update our logo design again in the future, just as most brands do, but we expect the QR code itself (the inner square) to remain the same forever. It's the little things that make the big things work. We hope you like these little improvements.
