On the way home after watching fireworks, I looked up at the sky and saw a star that seemed to be moving. I thought it might just be my imagination, so I focused on the star, and sure enough, it was slowly moving from left to right. It wasn’t just moving—it felt more like it was traveling. I wondered if it might be a UFO. I was in elementary school at the time, and I told my grandma, who was walking with me, that the star was moving. She said something like, “That’s strange,” and seemed just as puzzled as I was. After that, we walked home talking about what we might play tomorrow. When we got home, I told my mom about the star. Deep down, I was hoping that the moving star was actually a UFO. But my mom said it was probably a satellite. She explained that satellites are far away, so they look small like stars and move slowly across the sky. I was disappointed that the possibility of it being a UFO had gone down. I really wanted to see a UFO. 0 reply
