GM✅ Asides from the JAK2 mutation SMOKING can induce polycythemia Ie : tobacco , cigarettes ,shisha smokes contain nicotine , this nicotine increases the release of vasopressin leading to vasoconstriction of blood 🩸 vessels . Monoxide produced from smokes have more affinity for RBC displacing oxygen from the RBC ,increasing EPO production.
