HSBC's digital chief Zhu Kuang Lee says they're focusing on blockchain for three areas: digital asset custody, their HSBC Orion platform, and tokenization. HSBC Orion, their private blockchain for bonds, has handled over 10 issuances in Hong Kong, totaling $1.5B+ in the past year. China AMC also picked HSBC as their tokenization agent for Hong Kong's Project Ensemble pilot.
