I was constantly tapping to beats that only I could hear as a child because I couldn't sit still. Dancing gave me a way to express myself in middle school. I discovered that dance was more than just movement after my first lesson with Miss Jenna; it was a language. I picked a song that really spoke to me even though I felt insecure when asked to create my dance.
