ChatGPT was a way to make laypeople understand AI can have memory and act on it. 

End game is multimodal agents acting on real life events and real-time information.

My guess - It will be seamlessly integrated into many applications. And will likely be the brain of hyper realistic avatar/assistants that we interact with in mixed reality.

chat is the default form right due to the slowness of output. I'd say API is the final form.... but answers are too slow real business use right now.
