i wonder if i should pedicab....  i dunno if anyone does that around here

The insurance is the most expensive part. Doesn't get any cheaper than than five to six G's for a one-year policy. Unfortunately, dishonest business owners running motors on their pedicabs ruined it for everyone else. Insurance used to cost way less, like a third of that. So if you have a downtown area of some kind, it's potentially worth it. But if there are pedicab businesses established, you are better off just renting a cab then trying to start your own business.

I'll see if anyone is doing it first and i just might try and get going by the time the downtown season starts up again

You could always take the freedom route, which I did for several years. Let's just say Rogue Pedicab was an accusation before it was a business name

Thank you so much for this info. yeah I'm not in any of those major metros but we have a downtown that might support one or two if it's not already. would be a fun reason to be downtown without being in the bars
