Do you think the word "metaverse" has been corrupted to the point it can't be saved?

i donโ€™t think so, AI was corrupted pretty bad but it rose when its time came to be hopefully the same with metaverse!

I don't think that's a sensible comparison though โ€” ai is such a broad field with so many applications, while metaverse is more of a buzzword for a concept rather than any concrete thing. Am I wrong?

thatโ€™s what I am saying too, for a majority of people, AI was just a buzzword, until chatgpt integrated in their lives now everyone know what ai means

Perhaps something similar will happen. My perspective is that we don't need to call it metaverse for it to happen and be valid. By my definition a lot of web3 is metaverse, but we don't call it that. I'm a big fan of dropping the 3D immersive aspect. I don't think anybody actually wants that in the general public.

Thatโ€™s true, and same here for me the metaverse is a codified way of saying 3D immersive worlds more than web3 too 250 $degen
