Honestly I think that's a far-fetched presumption. They tweaked the algo and posted publicly about it saying that many of us would fall down in the ranks, especially if we are getting engagement from the same few people over and over. I'm also a few hundred down in the ranks this week as a result

Yeah I mean I get it, I don't think it'll ever be" fair", it's an algorithm based on their best guess as to what's going to work and people have gamed that algorithm since the start. It's just a different kind of unfair now. Not worth getting upset about. When I decide I care, I will go study what the top winners are doing.
